About
A pack of colored markers or a paintbrush in front of any young child is hours of limitless imagination. As children grow older this artistic and creative nature gets pushed aside for the world of academics and linear thinking. Our goal is to ensure that young people continue to grow in their artistic and creative abilities to become creative thinkers as well as academic thinkers,visual communicators as well as written communicators, and to prepare them for a world that needs innovators, lateral thinkers, designers, problem solvers and visionaries.
Program
Creative Minds at Work is a focused but fun after school program that teaches high level art combined with skills in creative thinking.
Working in small class settings students learn to become artists, visualizers, creators, designers, innovators and imaginative thinkers through a progression based hands on system.
Designed by creative artist Todd Polich, a master with over 20 years of visual arts experience, Creative Minds curriculum is loaded with challenging projects in a setting where children take pride in working towards goals and achieving creative and artistic excellence.
